INFORMATION FOR 2011 KALACHAKRA FOR WORLD PEACE

We are just seven months away from His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit to Washington, DC, to offer the Kalachakra for World Peace in July, 2011. As the date of this auspicious event approaches, we would like to share some vital information with you.

Tickets
Tickets will go on sale December 15, 2010. We are very pleased to inform you that, through the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we have been able to keep ticket prices as low as possible. A ticket for all eleven days of the Kalachakra is priced at $475.00 - $425.00 US. This amounts to just $43/38 per day. Please check the “Tickets and Registration” page of our website (www.kalachakra2011.com) to see all the different packages of tickets available to you.

Tickets can be purchased through the link on the Kalachakra 2011 website which will connect you with Ticketmaster, the official ticketing agent for our venue, the Verizon Center, or by going directly to the Ticketmaster website.

Group Sales
Group Sales will also be available for groups of over 20 who wish to be seated in the same area. Please check the website’s “Tickets and Registration” page for complete information. By registering for Group Sales, you will ensure that your group can sit together. If you choose to pay for your Group Sales tickets by check or bank transfer, you can avoid paying a processing fee on the ticket purchase. The form for applying for Group Sales tickets, along with detailed information, will be posted on our website on Friday, December 10.

Sponsorships
Individuals and organizations can become sponsors of the Kalachakra as long as seats remain available. By becoming an Organizational Sponsor, your organization will receive a pre-sales code that allows members of your group to purchase tickets one or two days before ticket sales begin on December 15.

Volunteering
As you can imagine, an event such as this can never be successful without the selfless assistance of a dedicated group of volunteers.
